Tastefully Southern Events is a full-service Event Planning Organization. Our gift is making your event a memorable experience.
Amy Dombroski is the owner of Tastefully Southern Events and has been planning events for the past 10 years. Amy has worked diligently to acquire the best vendors in the Atlanta area to work with. Amy personally takes time with every client to understand their hopes and dreams. She plans meticuously and will even sketch out designs to create a custom look for your party or event. Working with Amy is such a pleasant experience. She works closely within your budget to create a vison that inspires. Amy's tasteful way of making everything look perfect is her signature mark. Tastefully Southern Events has grown rapidly since we have begun. Amy attributes this to attention to fine detail and establishing a trusting friendship and business relationship with each of her clients. Here are a few of the items that Tastefully Southern Events will handle from conception to fruition of the entire gathering. An abundance of smaller details will also be handled as well.


Concept Development
- Overall theme and concept creation
- Handle all decor including table decor, centerpieces, correct lighting to create ambiance, linens, flatware, room decor, favors in desired.
- Create flow of rooms for guests
- Pull every detail together to make it a treat for your guests eyes
Event Management
- Write a proposal and contract detailing every item to be accomplished by Tastefully Southern Events
- Work carefully with budget
- Provide excellent entertainment vendors
- Detailed timelines and production schedules
- Handle all contracts with vendors that we choose to use (i.e. fine linen rental, entertainers, wait staff, bartenders, caterers, fountain rentals, rental facilities for china, flatware, stemware, etc.)
- Personally shop for all tasteful decor items
- Schedule all deliveries and after party pick-ups
- Vendor evaluation and pricing-- know who is the best, most reliable source for excellent service and entertainment
- Total project management from beginning to end
- Provide specific timelines for event to be executed
- Hold management meetings and handle deposits, logistics, and scheduling
- Review and confirm all event activities
- Set-up and tear-down in a timely manner
- Two weeks prior to the event, you will receive a detailed outline of the day before the event and after the event
Customer Service
- Available day or evening for questions
- Updates on any part of the project at any time
- Extras, such as selection of cocktail napkins with funny sayings or festive soaps for the restrooms
- Provide door prizes during the night of the event (baskets, wine, etc.)
- Conduct on-site management of event and post-event review
- Inform entrance gates of guest and associates of mine that will be working the party and what time to expect each
- Be prepared for snags that may arise with a proverbial "bag of tricks" that I bring on the day of the event
- Evaluate for risk reduction in the home
- Meet every need of my client and meet every need of the guests attending the event
- Custom walk through of home and custom design for event.
These are a few of the many things that we provide for your event. Our job is not to simply plan a party, but an Event that will be remembered throughout the year.
